Recently PreK through 1st grade students at Prairie Valley participated in a Pee Wee rodeo held at the Montague County Cowboy Church and learned all about the sport of rodeo. Organized by Mrs. Lila Keck and fellow teachers, the students took part in activities like barrel racing, wild cow milking, bronc riding with their own "pool noodle" ponies built before the event. Students and parents all had a great time and enjoyed a lunch of hotdogs at the arena. We would also like to thank Wes Morton for announcing the rodeo and making the kids feel like real rodeo pros!
