Hannah is going into her Junior year at Holliday High School. As a Sophomore, she was inducted into the National Honor Society, and won "Who's who" for her Biology class. She has also been on Student Council since her Freshman year. Hannah has been in band for five years now at Holliday, where she also participates in track and cross country. She also attends the First Baptist Church of Holliday, Texas. Hannah has been riding horses for eleven years, and for seven of those years she worked with mentally and physically challenged children and the Wounded Soldiers Program through equine therapy. Hannah now works at Senn Performance Horses, where she rides, trains, and evaluates horses alongside the founder, Sarah Senn. ALLISON OTWELL Age: 14 Hometown: Mineral Wells, Tx Parents: Kim Otwell Grade and School Attending: Freshman at Graham High School Sponsor: David M. Thompson Photography Allison Otwell is the 14 year old daughter of Kim Otwell. She is entering her freshman year at Graham High School where she will be a proud member of the marching band and will participate in agriculture and teaching focused programs. Allison will also be competing with the Graham High School Rodeo Team in barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, and breakaway roping, and her rodeo goal is to be a contender for the Rookie of the Year award. Allison loves horses and rodeos. She has been the Junior and Senior Sweetheart for the Weatherford Comancheros Riding Club, Wise County Wranglers Princess, Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse PRCA Sweetheart, and Decatur Chisholm Trail Days Rodeo Princess. Allison is very proud of having been Little Miss Jim Bowie Days 2014 She is very excited about competing for Miss Jim Bowie Days Rodeo Queen and hopes to be able to represent Bowie and Montague County this upcoming year. MCKENNA MURPHY Age: 18 Hometown: San Antonio, Tx Parents: Michael Murphy and Kimberly Terk Murphy Grade and School Attending: Freshman at Colorado State University Sponsor: Sewell-Uselton Insurance Agency McKenna Terk Murphy is the 18 year old daughter of Kimberly Terk Murphy and Michael Murphy of San Antonio. She is a 2017 graduate of Culver Academies where she was a member of the Western Riding and English Horsemanship teams. Throughout her academic years she has been very active in choir, theatre and band. McKenna spent a good portion of her senior year studying horse therapy, learning how horses help people dealing with anxiety and depression. In the fall she is attending Colorado State University, where she intends to pursue a degree in Equine Therapy. A goal she looks forward to pursuing is getting more involved in the EquineAssisted Activities and Therapies industry and to help and support people struggling with emotional issues. McKenna feels very privileged and excited to have this opportunity to participate in the Jim Bowie Days Rodeo and Celebration and to promote the sport of rodeo in Bowie Texas and beyond. PAYTON DILL Age: 19 Hometown: Lindsey, Tx Parents: Kris and Marsha Dill Grade and School Attending: Sophomore at North Central Texas College Payton is the 19 year old daughter of Kris and Marsha Dill Of Lindsay. She is a 2016 graduate of Lindsay High School where she was very involved in 4-H and FCCLA. The Fort Worth stock show and rodeo is where she won the finances to own her first cow and scholarships for college. She is currently a sophomore at North Central Texas College and is majoring in horse training. Payton is also an active member of St. Peters Catholic Church. Payton have been riding horses since she was 6 years old. She has also been a member of the Forestburg Riding Club Drill Team and Riding Club for 6 years. In 2008, she was the Gainesville Rodeo Princess, Gainesville Rodeo Queen in 2014, and represented Forestburg as their queen in 2015. Payton is currently employed by Rohmer’s Resturant of Muenster and Luse Horses in Lake Kiowa. In her free time, she enjoys teaching her 8 younger siblings and other children to properly care, handle, and ride horses. Caroline Macha is the 19 year old daughter of Paul and Kathy Macha of Wichita Falls, Texas. She is currently a Sophomore at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, where she plans to major in early childhood education. While at Midwestern State University she has participated in Cheerleading. In her free time she enjoys running barrels. She is a member of the National Barrel Horse Association. She also enjoys the opportunity to volunteer at the Women’s Faith Refuge in her free time. She attends First Baptist church in Wichita Falls, Texas. She has been involved in Rodeo Royalty Contest since she was 12 years old. She has had the pleasure of holding the titles of: 2011 Archer County Jr. Rodeo Queen, 2013 Archer County Sr. Rodeo Queen, 1st runner-up 2015 Miss Rodeo Texas Teen, and the 2015 Miss Teen Four States Fair and Rodeo. BAILEY GOODIN Age: 12 Hometown: Thornberry, Tx Parents: JC & Courtney Goodin Grade and School Attending: 7th Grader at Petrolia CISD Sponsor: Circle G Bailey Goodin, is the 12 year old daughter of J.C. and Courtney Goodin of Thornberry, Texas. She attends the Petrolia CISD and is competitive in basketball and softball as well as rodeo. Bailey is also active in the Petrolia Junior FFA. Bailey and her horse, Denim, were the 2016 '9-12 All Around Champion' in the Wichita County Mounted Patrol Youth Rodeo Series and won a saddle as the 2016 CTYRA All Around Girl Champion in the Chisholm Trail Youth Rodeo Series. She has a great collection of prizes from various rodeo events over the years including the M.R.C.A. Youth Rodeo Association, RRRC Playdays, Burkburnett Junior Rodeos, Wrangler Riding Club Playdays, Clay County Youth Rodeo, Pioneer Reunion & Rodeo Playdays. She was the 2012 Archer County Petite Rodeo Queen, 2013 Chisholm Trail Rodeo Princess, 2014 Clay County Pioneer Reunion Junior Rodeo Queen and 2016 Wichita County Mounted Patrol Petite Rodeo Queen.
