Students had to design a container that would protect a raw egg from breaking at increasing heights up to 80 feet! Students learned about selecting the best materials, drag resistance, and acceleration due to gravity. Congratulations to the 5 finalists in the competition: (Kylee, Jerome, Josh, Vernon, and Emma). Recently 6-8th students in Mr. Keck's Outdoor Ed Class completed a successful unit over gun safety and marksmanship. Students had to learn the 10 rules of firearm safety, learn the various types of firearms, and complete several days of shooting competition with an air rifle. Students had a great time an learned some valuable information.
