NOCONA FLORAL
From Left to Right: Brett Shears, Makaylee Gomez, Cassy Atteberry, Kasi Phillips, and Andrew Johnson. Mrs. Hilton's 5th grade class at Prairie Valley Elementary have been studying about contributions made to children who have disabilities. Their reading book has a story about "Boundless Playgrounds", which are specially designed playgrounds for children with physical limitations, founded by a mother who has a disabled child. The story sparked a class discussion which made the students decide to make a donation of stuffed animals and other assorted toys to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Dallas. We are very proud of our students for being so thoughtful and caring of others.
