The resort offers 2500 vertical feet of total exhilaration! With two faces to choose
from, one friendly and one formidable, there is ample terrain for every skier
and snowboarder from beginner to advanced. Silver Star has over 3000 acres of
groomed cruisers, open bowls, gladed trees and has dedicated 16 acres to the
TELUS terrain park and half pipe. After skiing you can skate and tube with the kids
and finish off with a gourmet meal. The village of Silver Star is a colourful collection
of Victorian styled buildings containing condos, shops & restaurants. The sports
centre has a swimming pool, exercise room, rock climbing wall and movie theatre.
There is a wide selection of free standing homes scattered through "The Knoll"
some with ski-in ski-out access. Silver Star is rated highly with the Canadian Nordic
Ski Team, as the cross country area has over 60 kms of Nordic skiing.
