Ocean City Aviation Association members Larry Shanks, Coleman Bunting and Steve Habeger invite the public to join them on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the OC Municipal Airport for their Wings and Wheels fundraiser featuring aircraft, cars and motorcycles on display, along with craft and food vendors. All proceeds from the event will go to support the Huey Memorial Display Fund, in honor of those who served. The Caine Woods Community Association in Ocean City recently held its fifth annual charity crab feast at Higgins Crab House North. More than 250 attendees enjoyed crabs, fried chicken and more. The crab feast was the final event of the year for the CWCA’s selected charity, the Open Kettle Soup Kitchen at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Ocean City. Over the past year, the CWCA raised $4,100 for the charity. The Ocean Pines Ladies Golf Association held its Annual Pink Lady Golf Tournament last month at the Ocean Pines Golf & Country Club to raise money for the Eunice Q. Sorin Women’s Diagnostics Center at Atlantic General Hospital. The association raised $953 during the event this year, bringing the total amount donated over the past three years to $2,848.
