A special Happy Lunar New Year to all of you celebrating in January 2014. Cabra-Vale Ex-Active Servicemen’s Club had a better than expected trading result for the first six months of the year. The Dawn service starts with a wreath laying ceremony at the Club’s Cenotaph (Cabra-Vale Diggers opens at 5.00am with the Ceremony commencing at 5.30am) and the Dawn Service March at 6.05am from the Club (weather permitting).
The Club will now be required to pay an annual liquor licence fee to be levied according to a range of ‘risk’ factors, potentially including: o The location of the premises o Patron capacity of the premises o Trading hours of the premises o Offences committed on or in relation to the premises o Compliance history Further detail will follow from the regulators in the coming months.
The Christmas Family Carnival has become a major event in the Club’s calendar with over 5000 patrons (mostly children) having a wonderful time enjoying the day.
