Tennis Club “We are back for another year for more fun on the tennis court. We obviously all have to work a little harder on the court to work off the Christmas pudding. A big welcome to Dennis - a new starter (a friend of Bissey’s - but we won’t hold that against him). Also good to see Mike return to the court after injury & break for a while. George has also returned after selling his business adventure in Nowra - so numbers are back on the increase. We are not only into Tennis; a few of us also went to the Sydney Cricket Test (Dick, Phil & Garry) to watch the Poms ‘fold’ on the 3rd day - just showing our all-round sporting ability. We had a stall at the Club’s Family Carnival in December to ‘drum up’ more business (players) - we received some interest - so if you saw us there & were interested come down to Fairfield Tennis Centre. All club members welcome to have a hit with us on Sunday mornings, 7.30 to 10.30am at Fairfield Tennis Centre (court 2), Vine st.
