Kari Culley-Wicks Pre-School Practitioner 15 I have worked in nurseries, had various babysitting jobs for friends and family and had work experience in infant schools and nannying placements. I gained my qualified in Childcare and Education, NVQ level 3, in April over 1 years of age. I now look forward to extending my experience in working with children as part of the Foundations team Relevant Qualifications and training: - with children, my first experience of this was at the age of 5 when I would help my mum at her nursery job! support of children with different age ranges and abilities. I began continued to join and support many other charities and organisations. I volunteer for Link Leisure which is a charity to support children, teens and adults with learning disabilities. I recently did their summer play scheme and I also help run an evening group for the adult service users that attend. Along side working for Foundations I am about to undertake a CACHE level 3 Diploma in Child Care which Foundations have supported and funded. I am extremely grateful to have joined their team and look forward to a blossoming career here. Relevant Qualifications and training: it has been a desire of mine to work in childcare. As part of my Duke of Edinburgh award, I volunteered with Brownie meetings at Goldsworth Park and Peer Mentoring at Woking High School. On leaving school after gaining GCSE passes, I began to search for a position in a local pre-school. Finding Foundations was a joy as the team are so friendly and professional in their work.
