Dear Attendees,
Please join us in San Diego for Plastic Surgery The Meeting. You will have the opportunity to grow all aspects
of your plastic surgery career and practice while networking with colleagues at social functions, finding new
solutions in the Exhibit Hall and taking your technique to the next level with an educational program that's
second to none.
During the meeting, you'll see your colleagues compete in non-traditional sessions like the Reconstructive Bowl
and Iron Surgeon, learn new techniques at the ASPS/Rhinoplasty Society Symposium and explore what's next
for the specialty at Hot Topics. This year's program includes a new, two-day Aesthetic General Session which will
delve into breast, face, and body contouring topics through a modular, symposia-like format and feature video
lectures and debate. ASMS Day will showcase a new problem case-based module extending the reconstructive
ladder to include craniofacial microsurgery and allotransplantation and a new session contrasting the
perspectives from Old and New Masters. You also won't want to miss the live local anesthesia demonstration and
our closing session highlighting four controversies in plastic surgery. We've also built out our practice management
sessions to give you a full day dedicated to online marketing and another block of business courses.
We are also excited about a few changes to the overall format of the meeting. Friday night kicks off the meeting
with a benefit event for The Plastic Surgery Foundation and Fresh Start Surgical Gifts "Sheryl Crow Rocks
The USS Midway." This year, Patients of Courage will be honored during the President's Panel on Saturday,
October 12, where their nominating doctors will join them in a panel discussion on cultivating the doctor/patient
relationship. You can network with your colleagues and meet a few new friends at our many receptions in Old Town
San Diego in the Exhibit Hall. We'll celebrate the final night of the meeting relaxing and dancing in our Hawaiian
shirts at our new event, "Wrap Party: Jukebox Monday Night," which is included in your registration and open to
all registered attendees.
We look forward to seeing you in San Diego.
