This session will begin with a
presentation of the best tips and
evidence on decreasing the pain of
injecting local anesthesia in all parts
of the body with an emphasis on
the face. The concepts will be put
to practice as Dr. Lalonde injects
Dr. Vedder's carpal tunnel with local
anesthesia as a live demonstration.
His technique will be scored by Dr.
Vedder with live commentary from
him, Dr. Neumeister, and Dr. Cederna
who will be observing the injection on
stage. Drs. Cederna and Neumeister
will then flip a coin to see which one
of the two injects the other live for
a second demonstration of learned
technique.
