Men's Knitting Retreat
Last September, 46 men met in Federal Way, Washington to spend
a long weekend reveling in all things fiber-related. Men from
far-flung locales converged for this special weekend of knitting,
spinning, crochet, and most importantly, camaraderie.
Skacel welcomed the fiber aficionados for a tour of our bustling
offices and yarn-filled warehouse. We hosted a design contest
featuring HiKoo
TM
CoBaSi, a unique wool-free sock yarn made
from cotton, bamboo, silk and nylon. This was the second year
the Men
's Knitting Retreat has worked with brand new yarns
from Skacel; the fresh perspective and thoughtful feedback was
invaluable.
