birds, including a Mustang, Sea Fury,
Harvard and Stearman, not to mention
the Yak and conventional Cherokee 6
for the ride of your life. Flips stretched
over the amazing beaches and
gorgeous Eastern Cape Coastline.
The tarmacs were lined with
children young and old, staring at the
skies in awe of the spectacular show
above them. It is almost certain that
many new aspiring pilots were born
during this festival.
The 43 Air School facilities were
open to the public during the event,
and there were also many stalls that
ensured visitors could relax and enjoy
the day whilst admiring these beautiful
aircraft at close range.
There were a lot more visitors
than were expected, but not once
did one feel over crowded. There
was a wonderful relaxed atmosphere
amongst all the aviation enthusiasts
that attended.
The Air Festival is the perfect
event to spice up your holiday along
the coast. 43 Air School offered the
perfect venue, with the best collection
of Aircraft on the day, ensuring the
purest form of Aviation gratification.
To top it all off the event was held in
aid of a great charity, making this a
winning combination. Watch the press
for details of next year's event. ·
