USCG Station San Francisco Patch
The history of USC station San
Francisco dates back to 1941
when the unit was established.
As part of the festivities during
2011 a new design patch
was introduced.
USCG Patch rescue diver
Every crew operating
the MH-65 "Dolphin"
helicopter consists of a
rescue swimmer.
USCG special paint Arctic Shield
Special paint is rather unique to be seen on
USCG helicopters. During August 2012 one
of the unit's MH-65s was involved in Arctic
operations to oversee the oildrilling by
Shell. The unit has always one MH-65C
available for oversea deployments.
