People By Jeanette Deskiewicz FEATURING THOSE HELPING CAUSES IN THE RESORT AREA Stand-up comedians Bobby Masi, Keith Purnell and Ryan Dacalos warmed up the crowd with their opening acts at the 6th Annual Suicide Prevention Comedy Tour show presented by the OC Parrothead Club. In Society Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center’s Billy Holly, Don Boger and Connie Gutridge did a wonderful job hosting the April Berlin Chamber Business After Hours event at the facility. Ocean Pines Association volunteers Tony Gamble, Pam Gamble and Jackie Kollar worked the group’s booth in the Ocean Pines Community Center during the Mid-Atlantic Expo Spring Home Show. AGH employees Jill Swistak and Lekeshia Whaley didn’t have to travel far when they attended last month’s Berlin Chamber Business After Hours held at the Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Welcoming people into the Ocean Pines Spring Home Show on a Saturday morning were Midge and Stanley Smith, parents of the show's organizer, Scott Smith of Mid-Atlantic Expo. Co-chairing the 6th Annual Suicide Prevention Comedy Tour event were OC Parrothead members Patty and Todd Dundore who worked hard putting together the successful fundraiser. Local realtors Kevin Sasada and Jon Barker of the Mark Fritschle Group stood up against youth suicide while attending the 6th Annual Suicide Prevention Comedy Tour at Seacrets earlier this month. Carousel Hotel catering staff members Adriana Znamirowski and Chaz Fosque served turkey and roast beef sandwiches from the carving station during the 6th Annual OC Chamber Business Expo. Selling tickets for the 2013 House Raffle at the Ocean Pines Home Show were Michael Allen and Jack Panuska of the Ocean Pines Fire Department. Tickets can be bought at the station until Sept. 1.
