LOWER DIVISION
LD
Teachers communicate readily with parents, and opportunities for parent volunteers are plentiful.
In these formative years of Kindergarten through Grade 4, Lower Division
teachers foster a love of learning in the children while developing their
fundamental academic skills and critical thinking abilities. Lessons come
alive through our teachers' innovative approaches to their subjects,
as well as technology which is embedded into all curriculum. Core
academics are supplemented with a fine arts enrichment program that
introduces students to accomplished artists, various music forms, and
theatrical performances; Spanish classes; physical education; music; art;
and community service programs. After-school enrichment provides a
variety of opportunities for our young students including chess club,
archery, yoga, cooking, piano, soccer and dance to name a few. In
addition to providing a strong academic foundation, we embrace
children's individual strengths and nurture their social, physical, creative,
and emotional growth. Our goal is to educate and instill a social
conscience at a young age to develop global citizens.
