GRAND BAHAMA
EAST END LODGE
With a strong combination of natural wonders and manmade attractions, Grand Bahama offers something for everyone. Grand Bahama gets its name from the Spanish “gran bajamar” – meaning “great shallows” – for the many flats and shoals in the waters that surround the island. The island stretches on for 96 miles, and is rimmed with cities, villages, and cays that offer lasting evidence of the many different people and cultures that have called Grand Bahama home. As a destination, the island allows visitors to combine a stay at a world-class resort with the charm of historical fishing villages and undiscovered marine treasures. It has one of the world’s largest underwater cave systems, three national parks, endless beaches, pristine water, and of course world class bonefishing. No matter where you fish on Grand Bahama, the waters that surround the island are loaded with fish, including strong numbers of permit and some of the largest bonefish in the world.

DEEP WATER CAY CLUB [Grand Bahama, Bahamas]
Since 1958, anglers from all over the world have visited Deep Water Cay in search of big fish on over 250 square miles of pristine flats on Grand Bahamas’ East End. Today, the fishery is as healthy and productive as ever, loaded with huge bonefish and Bahamian permit, and home to excellent guides, high-end equipment, and one of the nicest lodge layouts in the Caribbean. Accommodations at Deep Water are in cabanas with private bathrooms, A/C, and large porches overlooking the lodge’s home flats, or in larger, private homes and cottages that are ideal for families or groups. Lodge amenities include the clubhouse, a dock and marina, infinity pool, an angler’s bar, a fully-stocked tackle shop, and a 4,000’ private airstrip. Daily runs to and from the flats are short and easy, and the layout of the “bights” on this end of Grand Bahama create a situation where anglers can fish optimal tides throughout the course of each day. 7 night / 6 fishing day packages (double occupancy) $5,098.00 per person plus tax.
Although fairly new, East End Lodge is already one of our favorite operations in the entire Bahamas. This is a high-quality “fishing focused” destination where you can expect long days on productive waters with a fantastic, experienced guide staff. You will then return home to the lodge to enjoy great food, a full bar, and spacious, air-conditioned rooms that overlook the water. All of this at a price point that is the best on Grand Bahama. The second largest island in the Bahamas, Grand Bahama is home to amazing numbers of exceptionally large bonefish and impressive numbers of permit. East End Lodge is very close to some of the most beautiful and productive flats on the island, and close to the five bights that cut through the “horn” of the island on the East End. This multi-bight fishery enables the guides to fish optimal tides throughout the day, typically keeping clients on fish and in the action regardless of what the tides are doing at any given time. The experienced guides of East End Lodge have been taking anglers to these flats for over two decades, and recently came together to create this new lodge. Travel is easy to Freeport, Grand Bahama so this is a perfect destination for quick two and three-day trips, as well as week-long excursions. You can arrange a trip of any length, and arrive and depart on any day of the week. 6 night / 5 fishing day packages (double occupancy) $3,145.00 per person.
H2O BONEFISHING & PELICAN BAY
[Grand Bahama, Bahamas]
We appreciate how tough it can be for many anglers to balance a quality fishing trip with the vacation demands of family. It is for this reason that we are proud to work with H2O, an operation that couples an outstanding fishing program with the offerings of the high-end, full-service Pelican Bay Resort in Freeport. This area of Grand Bahama offers a wide selection of restaurants, bars, shopping, golf, nightlife, and a casino. Combine these offerings with the island’s world-class bonefishing and you have a complete Caribbean beach vacation that will satisfy every family member while at the same time delivering totally legitimate fishing. Whether you’re a die-hard angler seeking big bonefish and shots at permit, or someone who needs a legitimate vacation that works for non-angling companions and family, Pelican Bay is a great choice. We’ve worked with the owners of H2O for many years, and we can tell you from personal experience that these guys really know the Grand Bahama fishery. 7 night / 6 fishing day packages (double occupancy) $3,795.00 per person.
