Chihuly Jasmine Basket Jasmine Basket evokes the continued grace and timeless elegance of Chihuly's Basket series. Two golden yellow vessels, accented with distinctive contrasting lip and body wraps, compose this 2010 Studio Edition. The smaller element is endearingly cocooned within the environment of its larger counterpart, together conveying an air of gracious unity. Hand blown and signed by the artist, the pair together measure approximately 8" across. Included are a specially designed Plexiglas vitrine and a companion book, "Chihuly Baskets." The 112-page hardcover publication features companion DVD and sixty-seven color images. About the Artist - Dale Chihuly is an internationally known artist. His work is included in more than 200 museum collections worldwide and he has been the recipient of many awards, including twelve honorary doctorates and two fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts.
