Kindergarten `Circle Of Friends' Wall Hanging
This art project highlights Prairie's young artists' love
of the outdoors and their enthusiasm for making
their own mark on the world. Each kindergartner
hand-painted brightly colored concentric circles on
a wood slice from a tree. The two classes combined
their individual works to make this three-dimensional
arrangement of circles displayed together as a
vibrant wall hanging. Ralph Waldo Emerson once
said, "Nature always wears the colors of the spirit."
As this wall hanging illustrates, these are some very
spirited kindergartners!

First Grade `Swirls Of Color' Accent Table
Both first grade classes worked on this accent
table, which coordinates with the tile mirror (sold
separately) and is a perfect example of the art
of collaboration that pervades every corner of
The Prairie School. The first graders have painted
abstract art in brilliant swirls of color on ceramic tiles
that cover the entire tabletop. The black framing of
both the table and mirror showcases the vivid colors
chosen by the students. Each piece will be a
stand-out addition to your home.

Second Grade `Geometric Patterns'
Storage Bench
Who says geometry is only for high schoolers?
Prairie's second graders worked with angles and
experimented with bold colors as they painted
geometric patterns on the top of this roomy bench.
Combining sensible storage with stylish seating,
the bench boasts a rainbow of colors mixed by the
students themselves and offers extra space with its
three wicker baskets tucked underneath the painted
surface.
