500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Are you looking to go on a journey to find yourself and help others find themselves through the
practice of yoga? Then the full 500 hour training is for you. You will be offered all the basics
for teaching beginner and intermediate yoga as well as giving you the experience and tools to
feel ready to offer profoundly impactful advanced level classes. Phoenix Rising has a unique
approach to facilitating classes: it is student-centered and guided by language intended to
enhance body-mind relationship through embodied self-inquiry. Topics covered in the 500 hour
training include:
· Embodied and experiential anatomy and physiology
· Applied yoga philosophy
· Teaching methodology and pedagogy
· Professional integrity, boundaries and ethics
· Business practices that are authentic, personalized and mindful
· Guiding postures without demonstrating them
· The art of sequencing using postures and light thematic language
· The power of personal practice
· Integrating the Phoenix Rising process into daily life
· Crafting class, workshops and retreats from intention, thematic language and symbolic
use of postures
· Accessing the subtle body's symbolic nature with asana, pranayama and meditation
· How to guide a theme based yoga class (themes other than the previously taught
Module B Themes of Transformation)
· Learn how to meet with students for private yoga consultations

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
By the end of the Phoenix Rising 200-hour program, you will have the skills, knowledge and
confidence required to offer basic and intermediate Phoenix Rising Hatha Yoga Classes to the
general public. You will be able to offer them with professional integrity and competence and be
well on your way to creating a successful yoga teaching practice. Topics covered in the 200-
hour training include:
· Embodied and experiential anatomy and physiology

300-Hour Yoga Teacher Bridge Program
Do you already have your 200 hour certification and are looking for your 500 hour? Then
the 300 hour bridge program is for you. The intention of the 300 hour program is to deepen
your connection to Self, while enhancing your understanding of what it means to teach a dual
process of instructing postures while facilitating embodied self-inquiry. You will learn tools that
effectively guide an experience of embodiment and learning from the inside out thereby being
able to skillfully lead an advanced level Phoenix Rising Hatha Yoga Class or series of classes.
Topics covered in the 300-hour training include:
· The power of personal practice
· Integrating the Phoenix Rising process into daily life
· Crafting class, workshops and retreats from intention, thematic language and symbolic
use of postures
· Accessing the subtle body's symbolic nature with asana, pranayama and meditation
· How to guide a theme based yoga class
· Balance of educational and instructional language dependent upon level and intention
of class
