ASPS has been granted Accreditation with Commendation, the highest level of accreditation that the ACCME grants. Fewer than 29% of accredited providers have received this award.
Our new meeting Challenging Complications in Plastic Surgery symposium in Washington, DC and joint meeting with the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) in London were some 2012 highlights. Work was also started on a new Regenerative Medicine Task Force for the Regenerative Medicine Summit in Miami in 2013.
