The baby's development
T
he psychomotor
development of the child
does not follow a specifi c
rule. Every child discovers
the world in a different
way and develops its own
personality. Here are some
steps in the life of a baby.
Around 1 month
It begins to raise its head and holdup for
a few moments. It pays attention to noise
and follows your eyes. It reacts to bright
colours and light.
Around 2 months
The baby is much better at holding up its
head. It smiles and babbles.
Around 3 months
It can now hold its head up properly and
discovers its hands.
Around 4 months
It grabs objects and improves interaction
with the environment around it.
