Going out with your baby
A
child can travel from
when it is 3 weeks old, but
it needs sleep and a quiet
environment. Whether the
baby is 15 days, 3 months
or 1 year old, whether
you take it out for a few
hours or for a journey of
several days, you need to
take a few common sense
precautions.
Taking a walk
with your baby
Whenever you go out with your baby,
your best ally is the changing bag fi lled
with all the essentials: nappies, baby
bottles, mineral water, wipes, a change
of clothes and a small fi rst aid kit not
to mention its favourite cuddly toy to
reassure the baby and toys to keep it
busy.
Also make sure the things you use to
take the baby for a walk are suitable
for where you want to go. Baby carriers
and baby slings are a good alternative
for short trips when you do not want to
bring a cumbersome pushchair. Must
Haves? The anatomical baby carrier that
