At Worcester Prep, Amanda Lynch’s fourth-graders are going on a virtual safari. Their adventures in Africa will take them to exciting locations such as Victoria Falls, Table Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope. The students will focus not only on geography and history of the areas, but on African customs and traditions. Berlin Intermediate’s 6th Grade Peer Mediators along with guidance counselor Michelle Bankert and art teacher Stefanie Luicci hold up their "Pinwheels for Peace" as they greeted their classmates early Friday morning. Students at Berlin Intermediate School participate in this project annually in order to communicate to neighbors, friends and community that BIS is a peaceful school.
First-grade students in Mrs. Herr's class at Ocean City Elementary decorated T-shirts to share something special about themselves with their classmates.
Malik Hemmeian, a fourth-grader at Ocean City Elementary School, made an animal cell from gelatin and a variety of candies to learn the cell parts.
The 6th Grade Peer Mediators recently hosted the "Back to School" Pep Rally at Berlin Intermediate School. Students and teachers got to show off their great back-to-school attitudes. The mediators are pictured.
