quickly developed a love for surfing that stayed with him all of his life. Steve served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He spent 41 years building a career in the construction industry during which he founded the Stephen Falck Construction company. He developed many friendships in the Ocean City area through his years of softball in the 70’s and 80’s, racing sailboats on the Chesapeake Bay and coaching hundreds of girls in lacrosse at Worcester Prep and Beach Lacrosse. He was an active member and supporter of the Ocean City Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 21 at 2 p.m. at the Worcester Prep Athletic and Performing Arts Center in Berlin. In honor of Steve’s aloha spirit, casual island attire (Hawaiian shirts and flip flops) is appreciated. A private celebration for family and close friends will follow. Zlotorzynski; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and two nieces. Neil had worked as a truck driver for Parker Block Company and Simpson’s Towing. He enjoyed towing semi-tractor trailers and was wreck master certified. As well as a gifted artist, he could fix anything and would help anyone – stranger or friend. He was loved by all. Neil was a devoted husband and father and loved his family more than anything else. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 20 at the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin. Friends may call Friday evening at the Burbage Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Pastor Paul Palazzi will officiate. Neil will be laid to rest in Garden of the Pines near Ocean Pines. A donation in his memory may be made to Neil F. Neil F. Zlotorzynski, Jr.
BERLIN – Neil Frank Zlotorzynski, Jr., age 28, died on July 10, 2013 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin due to complications from diabetes. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Neil F. Zlotorzynski, Sr. and Teresa B. Zlotorzynski. He is survived by his beloved wife of seven years, Ashley Zlotorzynski, and children, Neil Frank Zlotorzynski, III, Nicholas NEIL F. Stephen R. Falck
BERLIN – Stephen Richard Falck, age 64, died peacefully on July 14, 2013, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. Born in Minneapolis, Minn., he was the son of Doris Mae Elander Falck, and the late Robert Barlow Falck. He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Patty” Falck, and children, Blair Parsons and her husband Joseph of Ocean View, Del. and Brooke Hahn and her husband Robert of Fenwick Island, Del. Also surviving are his three sisters, Carol Dutcher of Livermore, Calif., Barbara Henderson of Brentwood, Calif. and Janet Valdez of Livermore, Calif. There are numerous nieces and nephews.
