very strong levels of business.
Downstream brings you a selection of product and

Alcoa Wheel Products, the global leader in forged
aluminium wheels, highlighted the advantages of its
products over steel alternatives. Aluminium is up to 47%
lighter, allowing an increased payload and is up to four
times stronger than steel, with a service life of up to 20
years. The company also claims its wheels can cut fuel
consumption, dissipate heat more quickly, decrease tyre
wear and increase the lifetime of componentry like
brakes and suspension. Alcoa showed its patented Dura-
Bright wheels, which need no polishing and can be
cleaned with soap and water. It also offers mirror
polished and brushed finishes to its wheels.

Dixon Group showed its FloTech overfill prevention
system and Bayco petroleum products. FloTech
equipment is compatible with the installed base of
gantry mounted rack monitors found throughout the UK

accepted by the UK Safe
Loading Pass Scheme.
Dixon featured the new
FloTech overfill
prevention plug and
play wiring system

eliminating connection errors. The FloTech pre-made
wiring harness simply connects to each of the probes
and sockets via environmentally protected connectors,
eliminating the need to strip wires and make crimp
connections. The stand also featured Dixon Bayco's 5300
loading arm coupler. The unit is modular and can be
built with various face seal combinations to suit
alternative fuel / performance levels and applications.
