e have survived
Christmas and I hope
you all had a great time
with family and friends.
Now we are into another year, which
our whole team at the C.ex Group
will want to make special for all our
members and guests.
The C.ex Group will continue our
program of upgrading the C.ex Coffs
premise with a new reception counter
at the Castle street entrance, new
tiling and carpet for our yellow brick
road, new lounge furniture and the
commencement of our toilet facilities
renovation program.
The club industry is constantly
changing and always being challenged
by governments with new rules and
compliance changes that are often
cumbersome and very time consuming
without a true understanding of
how they will be applied and if they
actually add value or even address any
problems. We live in a world today
where many people and institutions
want to blame someone else for a
problem or incident rather than owning
up and accepting responsibility for their
own mistakes; instead they play the
blame game.
There are individuals who continually
behave poorly, are rude and abusive,
that when they are brought to task or
challenged they want to put the blame
on the persons who are charged with
controlling their poor behaviour.
We have legal firms that are making
plenty out of the litigation process
with members of the community
believing it is a shortcut to topping
up retirement incomes, only to find
out that it is a stressful and drawn-out
process that could have been mediated
with a better outcome. As a major
employer in the community, the C.ex
Group is committed to providing a safe
environment for members and visitors
alike to enjoy our facilities in a secure
environment so that every time you visit
you have wonderful experience.
