urunga Golf Club on Tuesday 22nd october 2013, Bonville public school became the inaugural Mid North Coast primary school Golf Champions. The team of jacob, Cody, Charli and Kasey had a total of 51 shots for the 6 holes competition to defeated Liam, jarrod, Lily and Nelly from st joseph's Kempsey by two shots. Kororo public school's Tom, jackson, Chloe and ella were a shot further back in third place. The Championship was played in an ambrose format on a modified short course of six holes with players restricted to use a seven iron and putter only, from the "My Golf Kits". eighty two students from Kempsey to Coffs harbour attended the event consisting teams of two boys the winners. other results were Best boys score, Fergus and hayden from Kororo public with 21. runners up were jacob and wade from raleigh public. Best Girls score, emily and Tia from Kororo public with 28. runners up were Bailee and Calissa from st joseph's Kempsey. all participating students had a fantastic day on the course and look forward to competing in next years' event.
