Time again for Detektor Football Cup
The Detektor Football Cup is held
annually during Ifsec week and
last year Raytec broke the Mayflex
victory suite and won the cup.
A total of ten teams participated
then which was a new record
and the tournament was better
than ever before.
The Detektor Football Cup
takes place on smaller-sized pitches
with five players on each side. The
matches are played for ten minutes
and referees are present to enforce
the rules of the game.
"The prestige of winning the
cup is of course high, but it´s
mainly an excellent opportunity to
take a break from the exhibition-
routine at Ifsec, have some fun and
meet new people from the security
industry", says Detektor's Lennart
Alexandrie.
The final last year was played
between Raytec and Panasonic,
the only teams that had won all
their matches. It was a tight game
but it was Raytec's evening, and
with a match only goal, the British
got away with the victory.
