GED testing is moving from paper/pencil to computer-based testing starting in September 2013 at the Newport Campus and at all sites in January, 2014. 2. GED has created a brand-new test that will launch in January of 2014. ged class orientation: fall term 2013 GED class students MUST attend two-day orientation ($20). lincoln city: Oct. 1 & 3 or Oct. 29 & 31 9-noon or 5-8pm • 541-996-6222 newport: Daytime Class Orientation Sept. 30 & Oct. 1, 1pm-3:20pm or Oct. 28 & 29, 1pm-3:20pm Evening Class Orientation Sept. 30 & Oct. 2, 5:30-8pm or Oct. 28 & 30, 5:30-8pm What does this mean for you? if you have started but not completed your ged testing: Plan to finish before January, 2014! 1. If you have already started testing, paper/pencil testing will continue until December 18, 2013 at Central County Campus/Newport, North County Campus/Lincoln City, and South County Campus/Waldport. 2. A new GED test has been developed and will be administered by computer starting January, 2014. Paper/pencil testers who have not completed by this time will be required to start over. if you have not started your ged testing: You may begin now, but you must be finished by Jan. 2014. 1. At Central County Campus/Newport - New GED testing students may take the paper/pencil GED exam through Sept. 1. After that date, you must take the GED using the computer. 2. At North County Campus/Lincoln City - You may take the paper/pencil GED exam up until December 18, 2013. If you have not completed by this time, you will be required to start over on the new GED test that we will begin administering January, 2014. 3. At South County Campus/Waldport - You may take the paper/pencil GED exam up until December 18, 2013. If you have not completed by this time you will be required to start over on the new GED test that we will begin administering January, 2014. El horario de OCCC tiene las horas y los lugares exactos en que las clases ocurren. Las clases cuesten solomente $20 por 11 semanas.
