H
ard training increases the body's need for protein.
Protein is the building block for tissues, hormones and
some neurotransmitters, but it is also vital for recovery,
muscle growth and immune function. Many athletes don't
consume enough. If your diet is too low in high quality pro-
tein then you simply won't see the results you desire.
As an IFBB Professional Athlete and Body Transformation Ex-
pert, I know that a high quality protein formula should be part
of an athletes' supplement arsenal. That's why I recommend
Extreme Isolate 97.
This supplement contains BiPro WPI 97, which provides supe-
rior biological value whey protein. WPI 97 digests quickly
and easily to ensure that there are plenty of amino acids
available for protein synthesis towards muscle recovery and
growth. In fact, it provides 37 grams of whey protein in every
40 gram scoop!
Now...this is more than just a whey protein. It also contains
supportive co-factors that help ensure that your body is get-
ting all it needs to maximize recovery and growth.
SUPPORTIVE CO-FACTORS:
AJIPURE L-GLUTAMINE:
This is known as the highest quality, most absorbable and
most stable form of L-glutamine that is available today. Gluta-
mine levels are readily depleted by the stress of hard training
and this can impair recovery. Optimal glutamine levels are
also needed to support muscle building and proper immune
system function.
BRANCHED CHAIN AMINO ACIDS (BCAAS):
L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine make up the BCAAs.
These amino acids can be used as an energy source when
carbohydrate stores become depleted. This allows you to
keep training hard but also keeps your body from using lean
muscle as an energy source.
TAURINE:
This amino acid derivative is an essential addition to anyone
who wants to make sure that their nutrients are being deliv-
ered to those hard working muscles. It acts to increase cell
volume, so it can aid protein synthesis by increasing water
transport to the muscle cell. It can boost insulin sensitivity
which means that more nutrients get delivered with less insulin
release. This means more lean muscle and less fat. It's also
a potent nitric oxide potentiator, which dilates blood vessels
to increase nutrient delivery and absorption.
D-PINITOL:
This plant sugar is a proven insulin mimicker. It increases
insulin sensitivity like Taurine. It also increases glycogen deg-
radation & carbohydrate synthesis. This means we can train
harder and longer because our body can pull energy from
stored carbohydrate.
ALPHA LIPOIC ACID (ALA):
ALA is a water and fat soluble antioxidant. Antioxidants
are important for athletes. Hard training produces lots of
unpaired electrons called free radicals. Left unchecked, these
free radicals damage cellular structures which will reduce re-
covery, impair muscle building, increase aging and can lead
to disease. ALA has also been shown to promote insulin
sensitivity, which helps shuttle more nutrients to the cells to be
used as energy.
Proper training and nutrition are crucial to athletic success but
supplementation is also important. Athletes want results, so
it only makes sense to select an intelligently designed, high
quality protein supplement such as Extreme Isolate 97 when
assembling your supplement arsenal.
