International 3DE
Equestrian Games to be held in Normandy, France in August 2014. Sonja Johnson with Parkiarrup Illicit Liaison (Ben) and Belfast Mojito, Jess Manson on Legal Star and Tim Ellis with Ellison Park Benson competed in the 4* class, with Sonja taking 2nd on Belfast Mojito and 8th on Ben. Jess and Legal Star finished 15th and Tim had an unfortunate retirement during cross country when a shoe pulled loose and was poking Ellison Park Benson. Held within the 2* class is the Dublin National Young Riders competition for riders under the age of 21 (in that calender year). Also within the class is the Equestrian Australia Young Riders State Teams

Adelaide International 3DE is one of eventings most prestigious events. One of only six 4* events in the world, the only one in the southern hemisphere, it draws competitors and spectators from around the country, especially from WA. Each year a literal convoy of trucks and floats make their way across the Nullabor, followed by plane loads of supporters, owners, friends and officials. Held in the parklands of Adelaide from the 14th to 17th November in near perfect weather conditions, the event once again attracted many competitors and spectators from WA. 2013 is a crucial year for competitors in this event as it is the beginning of the long selection process for the teams for the World
