Priceless
Snow, Freeze Dominate
While there were plenty of other newsworthy events this week that can be found inside,
the big news of the week was the four inches of snow that dropped Tuesday and the subse-
quent frigid conditions that stayed around the rest of the week. Schools were cancelled
most, if not all, of the week as a result. Above was the scene on the Boardwalk near 7th
Street on Wednesday at dawn. Below, a frozen scene on 3rd Street and the bay. At right, top,
the scene at the Inlet early Wednesday as crews start the cleanup process; second from top,
a surfer examines the swell after the snow stopped; the Boardwalk on Wednesday morning;
and a hearty biker on the Boardwalk Wednesday.
