In Society The Shore Regional Breast Center in Easton, represented by Jane Escher, Mattie Fountain and Joanie Peters, received the award for Most Funds Raised by a Workplace with 50+ Employees in the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure. Caught with their hands in the cookie jar were Kristina Prout, Sue Todd and Susan Teach at the bake table during the OC Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary Spring Fling Family Fun Day benefitting the local fire companies. Back in the Stevenson United Methodist Church kitchen were Bob Murray and Art Childs who were putting together crab cake dinner platters as fast as they could. Susan G. Komen Eastern Shore Race Development Coordinator Margo Mandes and Race Chair Suzy Taylor recently hosted an appreciation awards event with help from The Pour House. Stevenson United Methodist Church volunteers Vina Bailey and Peggy Murray took orders at the door for their very successful crab cake dinner last month. At the bake table with a variety of tasty treats for sale were Carole Jones and Joyce Stuart during the Stevenson United Methodist Church crab cake dinner held this mid-May. At the yard sale held in conjunction with the Ladies Auxiliary Spring Fling Family Fun Day, Darlene Prejean and Janet Greenway sold donated items to benefit OC Volunteer Firefighters. Shirley Travers and Verla Hammond were in charge of selling tickets for rides and games at the OC Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary Spring Fling Family Fun Day.
