EXTERIOR WOOD
If used correctly, wood in exterior surroundings is a valuable material and is resistant
to all kinds of weather from hot, humid conditions to temperatures below zero and with
extremely low humidity. Especially in climates with high humidity, wood is exposed to
damaging organisms such as fungus, insects and green growth. This causes wood to
deteriorate and decay.
There are several ways of protecting wood. Construction protection of wood is one option
using kiln dried wood, moisture insulation and ventilation - and thereby protecting the
wood from decay and ensuring long durability.
This is only an option in dry climates. In climates with high humidity, wood will need
protection treatment in order to remain in a good condition.
Iso Paint offers a wide range of products for cleaning, priming, oiling and lacquering
