Protego UV Oil is a natural product based on renewable raw ma-
terials. The oil impregnates the grain deeply and ensures a hard
wearing coating with the advantageous properties known from
traditional oil. Due to the deep impregnation of the oil inside the
grain, it may be re-oiled when required and equally cleaned with
wood floor soap. The UV Oil is applied on a regular UV lacquer-
ing line with intermediate sanding after application of the base
coat. Top coats may be applied once or twice depending on the
requirements to the final finish. Priming with stain or lye can
be made if particular colours are required. The final appearance
of the UV Oil surface is a natural looking wood surface with
natural enhancement of the wood grain. The Protego UV Oil is
extremely unproblematic to apply on an industrial UV lacquer-
ing line.
