Festival
The City of Williams Lake announces a
Cariboo Mountain Bike Film Festival,
with a film creation and editing workshop
on July 7. September 5 is the film submis-
sion deadline. This film festival will chal-
lenge all riders and artists to create the
best short mountain bike film in the re-

July 7 - Call for Art Submissions
`Branding the Cariboo with Art'
The Community Arts Council invites art-
ists and designers to submit up to three
entries for a juried competition for the
design of banners. Up to four successful
designs will receive $150 and a ban-
ner. Banners will be displayed across the
