Falls Prevention Exercise Classes
Funded by the Local Health Integration Network
Prevent falls and stay active with our group
fitness classes. Led by certified senior fitness
instructors, these FREE classes will help to keep
you staying well and living independently.
Pick up a schedule at the Friendship Centre,

Group Fitness
This higher intensity class includes balance, strength and cardio exercises.
By the end of this class you should be able to complete squats, speed walk
and use equipment such as weights and resistant tubing.
Group Fitness - Gentle
A gentler version of our Group Fitness class. Great for individuals with limited
mobility. Achieve your goal of walking for short durations by completing
balance, strength and cardio exercises while seated or standing. Participants
with higher levels of mobility welcome.
Group Fitness - Cardio and Core
Located at Friendship Centre only
More time is spent on cardiovascular and floor exercises. Learn how to
strengthen your core and improve your balance.
Group Fitness ­ Men's Strength Training
Located at Friendship Centre only
Build strength together through cardio, endurance and strength exercises.
