Dr Deb Mills, a representative from Australia Travel Safe, talks ear
safety with 5 top tips for keeping your little ones ears safe.
Be sure to teach your children the danger of putting anything in their ears. Some
children experiment with pushing things in their ears or noses. Perhaps talk to them
about the unpleasant experience of removing the object. Explain to them it can be
very painful to remove.
avoid prolonged loud noise:
It's important to control the amount of loud noise your
child is exposed to as a protective measure against
hearing loss. Keep the volume down in the car and
while watching TV. Teach the child to wear earplugs
or other hearing protective devices when around loud
noise especially loud music or power tools. BioEars ear
plugs are a great product for blocking out noise.
