The NW BANDIT Program
TRAIN
ROUND
YEAR
WE
Our program is dedicated to player development, thus our emphasis is to provide year round training. Our
affiliation with Atkinson Baseball Academy enables are participating players to get baseball skills instruc-
tion a minimum of once a week. Many of our athletes even come in during the high school baseball season
to keep skills like hitting fine tuned.
Tremendous Value
If you had your son take just
one private hitting instruction
session for one hour at $50
per hour - once-a-week - you
could be looking at a minimum
investment of over $5000 per
year - just for private
instruction alone!
Participation in a sanctioned Washington State Youth Baseball
League. 13U Teams - Washington State Sandy Koufax American
North League. 14U Teams - Washington State Sandy Koufax Olym-
pic or Cascade Divisions and 14U Seattle Elite League. 15U teams
particpate in the Seattle Elite League and Mickey Mantle League.
16U teams participate in the Seattle Elite League and Mickey Man-
tle League.
Participation in local and out of town tournaments. The actual
number of tournaments is determined by available funds and how
competitive the team proves itself to be. The Bandit Organization
covers the cost of tournament entry fees, however, if a team wish-
es to participate in a larger number of tournaments then we are
budgeted for, the tournament fees become the responsibility of
the team families to cover. For out-of-town or out-of-state tour-
naments, participating families are required to cover the travel
and accommodation costs for their son and split the traveling and
accommodation costs for their coaches among all the families in-
volved.
November to February - 90 minute weekly team workouts at At-
kinson Baseball Academy or at select outdoor facilities. We do take
breaks for holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.
Individual sessions start right after Labor Day in September.
Two 45 minute individual sessions per week - all year-round. Indi-
vidual sessions are done in pods of 3 to 4 kids. In season, we try to
group individual sessions in 90 minute intervals on a specific day
to limit the amount of traveling parents have to do and ideally we
like to incorporate hitting, throwing, conditioning and arm care in
individual sessions. However, exceptions can be made to accom-
modate personal schedules.
Team members can also hit at our facility as many times a week
as they want during non-peak hours as long as they call ahead to
make sure the facility is not in use. If a team member prefers to do
so with an instructor, please schedule ahead of time.
If a player would like additional private instruction above and be-
yond that which is indicated in this agreement they can do so with
any ABA instructor at an agreed upon fee. The fee is payed directly
to the instructor.
Payment of player fees does not guarantee playing time.
We encourage young men to participate in
other sports. The sports a young man is
participating in during that sports season
has priority over Bandit Baseball. How-
ever, we expect the same courtesy during
our playing season of April through July.
