The NW Bandits exist to equip, train and prepare young men at a level that
gives them the best opportunity to play high school varsity baseball.
As a team, our goals are to be competitive every game, win games and win
tournaments. But those goals never detract us from our mission statement.
Our primary focus is player development.
Mission Statement
We believe that having your son involved in a good quality select youth base-
ball program with 40 to 50 games a summer along with one or two team
workouts a week four months in the winter is simply not enough to develop
the skills he will need to play at the next level.
A player who is going to be successful needs to have private instruction on a
consistent, year-round basis. He not only needs a high level of coaching, but
a high level of private instruction and lots of outdoor baseball training to gain
a higher level of "baseball IQ".
The NW Bandit Baseball program is designed to develop players. We under-
stand that the cost of playing select baseball and then adding the cost of
private instruction on top of that can become very expensive. Our program
is also designed to develop your son's baseball skills year-round at a very
affordable level.
The Bandit Difference
The Bandit Program
NW Bandit Baseball is a non-profi t organization supported by the Atkinson
Baseball Academy. The NW Bandits work out year-round at the Atkinson
Baseball Academy located at Totem Hill in Kirkland. Our facility is equipped
with top tier equipment including modern batting cages and industry leading
pitching machines.
Our coaches are the instructors. They have outstanding experience, having
played baseball at a very high level. They also follow a very disciplined hit-
ting, throwing, fi elding, catching and pitching curriculum that is consistent
and does not vary from instructor to instructor. Our instructors are excellent
teachers of the game and understand our mission statement. We demand a
high level of character and discipline from our coaches.
We believe practice time is critical to the development of your player and we
also want your son to be facing the highest level of competition he should
be facing on a consistent basis. Thus we particpate in Sandy Koufax, Mick-
ey Mantle and Seattle Elite Leagues, as well as, particpate in local, regional,
state and out-of-state tournaments.
We value academics and
good grades are required
to playing NW Bandit
Baseball. We value good
character and your sons
are mentored in much
more than just baseball
skills.
