film Metropolis, now with 30 minutes of recently recovered and restored footage. Set
in a futuristic dystopia, the film centers on the heroics of a privileged man as he fights
for the oppressed masses. Considered one of the finest examples of science fiction
cinema, its stunning special effects continue to amaze audiences more than 80 years
later.
