With this in mind, property owners with inviting and dangerous features have the legal responsibility to protect children from these “attractive nuisances.” Because children cannot be expected to fully realize the danger posed by deep holes, dangerous machinery, or stacks of building material, it is incumbent upon property owners to protect them, even if the children happen to trespass.
