In the world of architectural design, master
planning is more than simply renovating
deteriorating schools. Rather, the priority
should remain in recognizing the highest
aspirations of students and developing a
vision for a better future where all students
can succeed. That's what we specialize in
at LPA.
The renovation of Paramount High School is
a stellar example of a campus transformed
by the collaborative effort of the district staff,
design team, builders and the Paramount,
Calif. community. A unique and driving
force in this successful master plan is the
theme of "The Paramount Experience: Arts,
Academics and Athletics." From the start,
our collective vision was to provide school
facilities that will empower students in
these three areas, providing them with the
necessary space and resources to identify
and achieve their aspirations for high school
and beyond.
Through an integrated master plan
approach, the high school and district have
experienced an acceleration of their arts,
academics and athletics programming,
made a smooth transition into a new
educational approach and have seen the
successful graduation of thousands of
students. We are excited to share some
examples of this philosophy put into practice.
