We are pleased to announce an exciting expansion for LPA--the opening of our fourth office,
which we have strategically located to better serve our Northern California clients. We are currently
under construction on a 6,000-square-foot LEED Gold Commercial Interiors space located at 60
South Market Street in downtown San Jose.
Practicing what we preach, the space is highly sustainable with an integrated approach to
engineering disciplines that do more with less.
The design uses the ground floor's high volume of space to define a work zone and a
collaboration zone. The work zone is formed by a "ventilated fold" made of white perforated metal
panels, allowing air to circulate and the integration of all building systems within the perforations.
The collaboration zone incorporates moveable furniture, allowing the design teams to organize
the room to fit the design task. The fold holds two glass panels that face Market Street and will be
used to project images of current and past LPA projects.
LPA has a long history in the Silicon Valley, and we feel that our ground floor location in the heart
of San Jose with all of the amenities that an urban location offers, will not only be a great location
for our staff but will be convenient for our clients, as well. We are excited about the opportunities
we currently have in the region, as well as the potential to grow the office with one of the most
dynamic and forward-thinking economies in the world. I hope that you are able to stop by after

The office will open on December 2, 2013, and we will be hosting an open house on January 30,
