The Advocacy Coordinator will check with you
that your matter is suitable for this service, and
if it is an advocate will be in touch with you.

Advocacy will help when the you:
· Has a specific problem or issue you
would like help or support with
· Feels others are making decisions for
you, instead of with you
· Find it hard to speak up for yourself
· Feel ignored or not taken seriously
· Or, when you are unsure of what choices
are open to you.
An Advocate can:
· Identify and discuss the problem/issue with
you in confidence
· You the client think about what choices that
may be open to you
· Help you ask relevant questions
· Obtain up to date and accurate information
· Help you to speak up for yourself
· Supports the client to present their views and
wishes
· Be on your side
The Advocacy service will represent you at
appeals tribunals.
