OCEAN CITY – Mr. and Mrs. Paolo Calcara of Ocean City have announced the engagement of their daughter, Alessandra Diana, to Justin James Field Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Justin James Field Sr. of Broomes Island, Md. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Stephen Decatur High School and Salisbury University. The groom-tobe also graduated from Salisbury University. A fall wedding is planned.
Humane Society, Town Cats To Hold Joint Fundraiser
OCEAN CITY – The Ocean City/Worcester County Humane Society and Town Cats of Ocean City have announced a benefit fundraiser to be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 7 -10 p.m. at the firehouse located at 14th Street. All are invited to attend this event that will raise funds to benefit the care of homeless and abandoned pets. The evening includes a silent auction, 50/50, door prize, with lite fare being served throughout the evening accompanied by beer, wine and sodas. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Mr. Dee and Me featuring line/swing/hand dancing. Tickets for the evening are $20 per person in advance and $25 per person at the door.
