A C T L O C A L LY – T H I N K G L O B A L LY DC CHAPTER & JSSA During the November monthly dinner meeting, the AO Washington DC Alumni chapter accepted the challenge to donate to the local Jewish Social Services Agency (JSSA)’s Holiday Giving Program. Chapter President Adam Frieder and President Elect Fred Simon invited Marissa Neuman from JSSA to attend the dinner and thank the chapter for its support. Fred and Adam, Where to begin, what a success! I had a won derful time last night, what a wonderf ul group you have at Alpha Omega, so generous and led by their inspiring leaders. You two did a wonderful job and I think your idea of ha ving us there to speak was really great and helped them unde rstand the cause even more.Thank you. Drum roll please….. $1,762! Your efforts have mad e such a significant im pact on local families and individu als who face stress an d great struggles as the holidays approach .This helps close to 3 0 families be able to get hardy holiday m eals, stress free!
