Members, family, and friends gathered to celebrate Shabbat but also to honor Ben Williamowsky as he retired as Director of the U.S. Foundation. International President Marcy Schwartzman presented Ben with a Presidential Citation to note his significant and long-standing contributions as a tireless advocate of Alpha Omega. The night was special since many of Ben’s family members, including some of his grand and great grandchildren were in attendance. It is difficult to put into words the impact that Ben has had on Alpha Omega. He represents the best of AO and as anyone knows, he has the biggest heart and also tells some great jokes.
