Shreve Memorial Library Donates Food to the Food
Bank of Northwest Louisiana
This should break the scales!
Shreve Memorial Library delivered over a ton of food to
the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana on Thursday, January
9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. The library hosted amnesty days,
"Food for Thought" throughout the month of December 2013
and netted 4-thousand 93 pounds of food! Patrons received
overdue fine forgiveness for each non-perishable food item
donated. The response was phenomenal!
Food Bank officials say they are grateful for the much
needed donations! Shreve Memorial Library continues
to serve the citizens of Caddo Parish, not only with
information and entertainment, but by helping other
agencies help people.
